Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, 61, the vice president of Ghana since 2012, last week called on Italian businesses to invest in Ghana, saying that the country’s economic prospects are high.

Carpini praised relations between the two countries over the years, and assured the vice-president of continuing support and cooperation from the new administration in Italy, promising that her country was prepared to support Ghana in the pursuit of economic growth.

The Ambassador commended Ghana for the economic and democratic progress it had managed to achieve, and expressed confidence that her time in Ghana would enhance the relationship between the two countries.
